Ive had my Reveal device in for several years. It stopped functioning a couple of years ago but I was told it does not have to be removed. However, recently, it seems to have changed shape, having become elongated after being just a small square box-shape. Does anyone have any experience of this? It doesn't trouble me at all but, I'm just concerned about it's changing shape!?!

Reveal Device
Hi. Mine was rectangular. It was a hard bump on my chest. I asked to have it removed when it stopped functioning after two or three years.
I can't see how it can change shape, but you never know.

I suspect it is you that has changed shape rather than the reveal. I'm sure that they would, remove it if you insisted but so long as it doesn't grow teeth and burst out over dinner one night ( OK I watched too much Alien) if they say it is safe then maybe safer than removal.
Nearly choked on my breakfast I laughed so much at your Alien referenced reply. Should change your name to Jones.

Hello
Coincidentally I had my Reveal removed last week. It had been in situ for three years and the battery had run out. As it had done what it was meant to do, I decided with my cardiologist to have it removed as no longer needed. I also I could feel it occasionally turning over in bed.
The procedure took about 20 mins. Apart from a little bruising its all done and dusted and I am pleased its gone!
Thank you for this.........am considering it!
