Safety of Reveal device

Is it safe to leave Reveal device in place, once it is no longer working? I've had mine in for several years...........

Have you been given any medical reason as to why it wasn't removed? Have they forgotten to take it out?

No, my consultant has simply said, it's not a worry to leave it in place..........can do no harm!
