Chest pain is fairly common among cocaine users and accounts for 40 percent of emergency room visits by cocaine users, making it the most common reason behind visits.
There are other common cardiovascular problems that cocaine users often experience. include high blood pressure, enlarged ventricles arteries to narrow, inflammation , angina, heart attack and death. Rapid heart rate and abnormal rhythms are also common , even amongst sporadic users.
Interestingly, it is difficult to identify unless the patient admits drug usage, It appears there are there are no easy way of repairing this damage.

Wow, hard to understand why people choose to screw up their bodies
But it seem alcohol is more acceptable. Having been married once to an alcoholic I may disagree.
Ian when I was blue lighted into Warrington Hospital with HR of 250+ which is faster than an Olympic runner I was asked by three separate Drs.if l had been using Cocaine as no other explanation for rapid HR
They pleaded with me to confess as there was an antidote for Cocaine...
The only other time l had been that shocked - but that's not really the right description was when I was in my 50's and needing a GA the Drs.asked me ' are you sure your not pregnant...
What at 58 l didn't know whether to laugh or cry but slightly flattered they thought there was a possibility...
I was asked about possibly being pregnant on my last hospital admission too. I laughed and the nurse then checked my date of birth and said “you look so young”. That was good for my ego 😃
