Here’s a picture to show, despite being unwell for many months I still have good times and get out and about.
We have visitors from interstate so yesterday we checked out a new rooftop bar in the city. Like a lot of people on this site I no longer drink alcohol but I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. This is a Virgin Mojito. Very tasty. Cheers and have a lovely day xx

Hey Kaz ......... you employed by Tourism W.A. or what ??? ............ looks bloody like it posting this just fabulous view , the only thing you missed out is a report on day time temperatures, which I guess would be around mid thirties .
That the Swan River in the background ?
Here in Cornwall, UK it was 8 with a very watery weak sun. Boooo Hoooo.
I'm following the Aussie BBL (Cricket). Seems like its a bit hot downunder.
No 😂 just glad to be living in a beautiful place. And yes, it is the Swan River. It’s been perfect weather, around 30 but we are expecting 40 on the weekend. There has been a heatwave in the Eastern States.
I am soooo envious!! Just seen your post - I am currently sat shivering (forgot my gloves 😂) in a freezing cold bus on my way to work, outside it is cold and dark in Southampton. Thank you for reminding me of sunnier days to come 😎😎 and the joys of non alcoholic cocktails in the sunshine
Well, speaking for myself, Kaz747, I really miss the alcoholic version of cocktail hour! Perth is so far from Brisbane - is it really in Australia? Nah, it's another country, surely. Hope you had a relaxing day - you deserve to, after all you have been through.
Thanks. Yesterday was the rooftop bar and today we went for lunch via boat with our friends. It would be a perfect life if I could get my heart to behave 😎
Great you are getting out and about Kaz. Thanks for the sunny pic, I’m deep in snow here in the alps, makes me want another Australia trip!....This site has taught me one thing and that is life goes on and can be normal despite afib. Gosh when I think of those early days I thought life was so bleak.....glad you are getting out and about.
I am two days away from my op, off I go Monday!......😀
Yes I can understand that because my husband is recovering from his heart attacks so we are both resting together and watching Netflix , glad it’s winter months hopefully we will all be nice and healthy for the summer. Ursula x
Oh my hubbys the coffee, I’m the tea....but strangely France doesn’t do decaf tea.....not normal tea...which is odd but they aren’t really tea folk, more coffee..
Cheers, I just love that drink. On the cruise ship that I had it on it was called a Nojito! So glad you are making the most of every day in that lovely sunshine.
