This definitely applies to me, the doctors have put the fear into me and its very hard to break free and not be swallowed by it. But this video has made me realise so thank you for posting it. Happy new year to us fearless lot x

Thank you for an uplifting story. Yes the only thing you have to fear is fear itself. My biggest phobia is heights but it didn't stop me painting the top of my house the year the girl next door used to sunbath topless ! Breaking free of the fear can be a light bulb moment like the time I finally went through Club Corner at Silverstone without lifting. My driver had told me it was possible so I trusted him as I tested the car. Trust is important and sometimes we have to trust ourselves as there is no one else. We are all stronger than we think!

Thank you so much for this explanation, sad as it is to hear about these baby elephants, it certainly has made me stop and think about fear as this makes sense to me.

Thankyou for answering me Jo...would you mind if we kept in touch ..

Dr Gupta seems a competent empathic cardiologist with excellent communication skills. A psychologist, not so much.
