Bye bye 2018......

Clearly 2018 has been a year of mixed emotions for so many members.

For some, it has been a year they would prefer to forget whereas for others, it has been a year to be grateful for. One thing we do know is that there is always hope that things will get better and it is amazing how folk here always do what they can to help and support those in need. Therefore, let’s take some encouragement from the fact that so many names have disappeared from the forum because they have pursued a treatment plan which has helped them to get on with their lives.

Thanks, and best wishes to everyone for a better 2019

I was one of the lucky ones Pete, no problems during 2018 and hopefully a successful ablation! All the best, John

Happy new year to you too John and thank you for giving your kind and caring support to so many people on this forum.

You've made me think of all the riotous new years eve's that I've spent at dinner and dances (we all wore long dresses to them), parties and around the pubs in town. Mostly dressed in the same hippie outfit, all my own early 70's clothes. Once me and my sister went out dressed as Tweedledum and Tweedledee, a friend's husband said we looked like a pair of jockeys! This evening I'm out at Coleton (you know it) dressed art deco style and entertaining visitors until 8pm and then will probably be in bed and asleep by midnight, which I much prefer these days. Lovely memories though.

Happy new year everyone.

Jean

A lovely place to spend this evening, hope someone there will be able to tickle the ivories on grand piano in the drawing room.....🎹. Now tell me, which one were you, not dum that’s for sure and of course, you can still fit into those hippie outfits!

Enjoy yourself and all the best of luck for next year, especially on the 15th........
