Vaginal bleeding

Need some advise please

I had some spotting so visited the dr yesterday who has arranged a scan for me on Friday however it had got heavier with small clots ! I rang the dr as I’m concerned being on Rivaroxaban and he said just to carry on with them until I have the scan Does anyone else think is strange ?

Hi Jan, I see you had a similar problem a year ago. What did you do then and were you on Rivaroxaban? Vaginal bleeding can also be a sign of a womb infection, which can be cleared easily with antibiotics. Had it once in the days when I was a young mum. Is the blood bright red or brownish?

Hi It was just spotting a year ago and the dr just said give it a week to see if it clears up which it did This time it’s a lot more almost like having a period with fresh red blood and a few small clots : (

If the bleeding becomes serious, go straight to A & E, but otherwise the scan on Friday will be the first step to identifying the problem.
