No AF since I got my e-bike

This post might be helpful to the exercise bods in this community. I used to get a bout of AF about once a month and have previously reported that I could stop it by getting on my bike and cycling up a hill. I bought an electric motor to retrofit to my steel touring bike in April and have been using it for most of my rides in the UK and have found it very useful to "take the pressure off" up hills and keeping up with a faster group. I have now gone 5 continuous months without a bout of AF. Whilst this could also be due to medication (although no changes), settling down post cryoablation, or lifestyle changes, I have hesitated to claim it as a significant change. However I do now think it worth mentioning. One swallow does not make a summer but I am feeling a lot better about things.

Sounds like a good idea. I’m a keen cyclist with persistent AF and with every challenging hill comes the anxiety of whether I am pushing myself too much or not. Your idea could certainly help me in the future. Hope it continues to go well for you.

I am in persistent AF so the exercise won't get me back in rhythm. I cycle the last mile to and from work every day and it definitely helps me to be almost symptom free.
