Hoping still part of the process- 2 weeks post cryoablation for paroxysmal AFIB- but actually worse than I had ever had pre cryoablation! Thoughts?

Just because you do not have a giant zip up your chest does not mean that your heart has not been assaulted . If you read our fact sheet on Recovering from Ablation you will understand that it can take three to six months to settle down and these things are quite normal. IF you have any chest pain then contact your arrhythmia nurse .

Other wise stay well hydrated at all times and REST as much as you can.

Thanks Bob and yes, your recovery sheet has been quite helpful. I am impatient for sure and I think reading too much. Taking melds was one of the reasons I opted for the ablation very soon after diagnosis and now- 2X a day -,50 mg of flecanaide for a few weeks ... Your kindness in responding is appreciated.
