Just had my ablation. I have to keep my legs still for 6 hours. On hour 5 yay. I feel as if I had nothing done thus far. I hope it works. Love to all of you.

Hi. It was great. Aside from having to lay still for several hours, I literally feel nothing at all. I have paradoxical a-fib so I’m in NSR as usual...until I’m not. I wasn’t nervous until last night and then it kicked in. I literally picked up my phone 3 times during the night and dialed the center to cancel, then hung up.

I don’t understand? Your consultant canceled your procedure? Did he reschedule it for a later date?

You're self aware and honest but very brave. You did the best thing for yourself in spite of normal fear of procedure. Congratulations. This support network is a gem. Welcome!

I had to lie nearly flat for nine hours. They did not use a catheter for me, so was in pain with urinary retention for all of those hours. I reported this to Medicare (am in US) as mistreatment as they never even assessed pain level which was 10 out of 10.
