You have probably seen this AFA fact sheet:

heartrhythmalliance.org/res...

The migraines should soon pass. Any NON NSAIDs painkiller should help if necessary and drink lots of water......

Hi Terrielynne, I had 3 or 4 episodes of visual migraine, with zigzagging lines and holes in my vision in the first 10 days post ablation (which was 2 1/2 weeks ago). They seem to have gone now. Take care.

Hi - I had visual migraines after two of my ablations. Was not told that it might happen, so thinking it might be a blot clot, I went to A&E. No-one there mentioned the possibility of side effects from ablation, though I told them I had just had one. They checked me over, then told me to go to GP for another check up in a few days. GP knew nothing about it either. I rang the arrhythmia nurses who told me it was a side effect of ablation.

I only knew not to panic as I’d read it on the Recovering from Ablation fact sheet that I found out about on this forum ❤️

Wow it's terrible that they don't let people know about these, just so we don't worry that we may have something wrong.I feel the recovery is longer then what they say as well
