I went on vacation over drink , then had palpitation during the night . I went to thé hospital at Punta Cana. Thé doctor did a lot of test for 36 hours . My heart was ok but i felt palpitation during thé night or when i slept . Thé doctor gave me Bisoprolol 1.25 daily. I took it for 5 days , 1.25 daily and when i arrive un Canada i stop for 4 days , then i restart and its be en around 7 days i took them daily 1.25 . Thé thing is that i never had heart problem , im 28 years old and i do sports. I want to stop taking them becaude i am afraif of disturbing my natural heart fonction and i feel that maybe i have anxiety and i dont think i need Bisprolol. Because i took them for 7 days or Maybe 8 days , 1.25 daily

Some people get palpitations through drinking and it's best to have another check up with your doctor now. The beta blocker you mention is to keep the rate down so if you haven't had any more palpitations they may well feel you could stop but may want to just check for any issues first. Do do all the sensible things you mention too so that you stay healthy! Good luck!
Thank you Rosy, i still got palpitation little one during the night and i dont Know if its anxiety . But 1.25 dailyof bisoprolol for two week do you think its tuff for the heart when you stop . I have an appointment in 3 days with my doctor i dont Know i should stop bisoprolol until So my doctor Can look then if im ok without them .
My historic of heart always was good but recent’y Had a lot of anxiety and mix with drink event in Punta Cana . Im positive and will do sport est week and read and try to relax im just wondering if i take bisoprolol for nothing. Thank you for your care response Rosy ❤️
I wouldn’t worry as you have an appointment soon and you are on a very low dose so it won’t do any harm either way. I was on that dose for a few days but have a low heart rate so stopped it after a few days. Be advised by your doctor.
Unless you feel the Bisoprolol is giving you unpleasant side effects, it might be a good idea to continue it until your doctor sees you. It can be quite helpful if you are feeling anxious.
Perhaps take it easy with the sport until you have a diagnosis.
