Off to St Thomas’ on Tuesday for follow up post ablation at the end of May. Hopefully will get rid of some of the medication as I’m sure this is causing some of my breathlessness.

I’m with you on that one Drummerswidow, but a lot may depend on your blood pressure. If it’s too high it may cause AF to return but please let us know how you get on Tuesday and good luck!

Thank you! I will.

I should have added that both betablockers and calcium channel blockers reduce blood pressure and pulse rates so if they agree that you come off them, ask if you should reduce the dose gradually.....

I’m on Bisoprolol and Flecainide. Hoping to stop the Flecainide and reduce the Bisoprolol. Here’s hoping!

Fingers crossed.....check with the Doctor, but they normally do not wean you off Flecainide. If they stop it, try not to worry if you get a couple of wobbles immediately after......good luck!
