Post 3rd ablation

Home after my ablation on Wednesday. Feeling not too bad but my groin is still a tiny bit weepy. My EP said I was one of the worst cases he’s got, not great to hear. He said he was going to use a higher heat this time. Hopefully it’s work this time because that was my last ablation.

Sounds like it's been somewhat of an adventure for you and not in the best way. So pleased it's over for you and you are now home again. As you are a seasoned ablation patient you will know better than anyone what to expect and need rest wise. I hope you feel the benefits of your procedure before too long and can reap the rewards of all you have gone through. Best wishes for a good heart eased future.

Glad you're feeling ok Redders, I've been waiting to hear how it went. After my third ablation with the same EP I felt so much better almost immediately (apart from a bout of tachy) then had a far quicker recovery, than the other two, and I hope you will too. I'm glad to hear that it's your wound that's weepy and not you.

I'll keep in touch.

Big hug, it's all over.

Thanks for the link Flapjack,I found it very informative after my third ablation and feared it hasn’t been successful, only been 6 weeks, early days then.

Good luck Redders and rest up. That bloating stomach has pain is very normal- and very uncomfortable. Careful what you eat and take something to relieve the gas. Best wishes during your recovery period.
