I am new here, so bare with me. I had ablation Feb2015, everything ok for about 14months then started having AF again found I had overactive thyroid caused by amiodrane. Still getting AF doctors put me on Fleciande it worked before the ablation, and have now been back on it for 2months yesterday I had a echo and they found I had a low EF and said discontinue Fleciande and put my beta blocker by 2.5mg.

Can anyone tell me if fleciande is the cause of this.

Thanks.

I think it more that flecainide is not recommended for people with any kind of cardiac issue other than plain arrhythmias. Has a second ablation been discussed yet?

Thanks Bob, yes I am on the waiting list, but we have a 3week trip booked to go to U.S.A the end of September just hope they will let me go.

Sorry to hear a fib came visiting. Try and not get too discouraged as I believe many times our worry and emotions affect our hearts. Lets hope it was just a one time visit💜
