Hoping for a prompt return to NSR! Seems there's a lot of it about in the hot weather, even had it said to me today by a none-afibber they were struggling in the heatwave so could see why I had
Sunday was a bad day for many of us,weather was oppressive even though I stayed in and rested.Hopefully it was just a hiccup for you, Higgy fingers crossed! Xx
Hmm , my advice on Bisoprolol, as a newbie to Biso , much better than Metoprolol and I have had no reoccurrence of AF, but I can only tolerate 1.25mg or i slow down. I too used to find heat at night kicked off my AF. My advice buy an air conditioner, have one in my office at home and work ! I have found with AF ( over last 6 years ) the more you think about it the more you get and like the good film said ( if you build it they will come ) and with AF ( if you think about it it will come ) !
So be like a good politician in the UK and don't think.
Oh and buy a daft dog, we have a golden doodle - you spend all your time thinking of and washing the dog.
Sorry not much to tell you except that I am on trial and error to see if the darned biso. is causing me and lots of other people the most awful nightmares every nght, sometimes twice nightly, headaches as well and feel so weak. I am 81 and have put up with this for 8 years, one cardioversion lasted 3 years then off it went again. to tell the truth I have had enough of this life. My cardio man is nice, he puts me down as suffering from persistant Af with acute fatigue. To think 5 years ago I was sailing and walking the dog! Anne
