Back in regular sinus rhythm for 5 months after a cardioversion, do you think I could upset my now regular rhythm by using my TIG welder, With all the electronics involved?

I'm not sure many here will be qualified to advise cdgsmith. I know BobD fiddles around with car engines and has had more electric shocks than most, but maybe you should check it out with an EP if possible.
Shouldn't unless you lay across the arc David. Steel or ally shouldn't make much difference either. I never had a problem with Mig for years and now we have Tig I let No 2 son do all our welding. If you have a pacemaker then NO!!! They don't like the magnetic fields one bit.
Yes Flapjack 20kV up your arm does make you jump! Especially if you are laying across the wing of a car and you can guess where the earth is. .
