One month on

Hi all just to let you know that after one calender month on from my ablation on the 2nd of May, that things are progressing exceptionally well, my quality of life is poles apart from a couple of months ago, one hour long AF episode on day 6 and since a few ectopic beats.

So for me personally ablation was the best decision I ever made, I will keep in touch periodically as I read with interest what is going on in the AF world, i will of course offer what assistance and help I can to others who suffer from this debilitating condition from my experience gained ober the years.

All the best Brian

Hope all continues to go well Brian. My first Ablation was not a complete success but my second up to now seems to have gone a lot better.

Excellent. Hope the positive recovery continues. I am scheduled for ablation on July 18. Since this has started for me, I’ve heard many ablation success stories.

Sounds wonderful, Brian, continued good news expected. I’m scheduled for ablation July 9th - so looking forward to hopefully coming off of the beta blocker & Flecainide - started Flec in March & fatigued since then! Cautiously hopeful. Susan Marie

Just a quick update, went ten pin bowling Saturday evening and unfortunately slipped on a wet floor went down like a sack of spuds, my son and his mate had to pick me up as my leg had gone kaput, my first thought was not ouch my leg but what about my AF??

Luckily my heart has behaved and not a flicker, steady SR phew! but had to go to my GP torn calf muscle so laid up again, more resting which will help the old ticker continue to heal.
