I'd already seen this, but have to say Sanjay's words are ones to make us all sit up and take note of life's true path to health and happiness.

Is this guy a 'new age guru' or a doctor?

He's a consultant cardiologist in York with a special interest in arrhythmias and imaging. His communication skills are excellent and he has many videos on facebook. Do not confuse with Dr Sanjay Gupta neurologist and TV presenter in the States when you search

That was so good. I was fortunate to attend the Seminar in York last Saturday led by Sanjay Gupta (cardiologist) and Simon Smale (gastroenterologist). Both were excellent. Their presentations were very informative and there were opportunities to ask questions during the seminar and individually during the breaks. I found it really helpful. They hope to do another one in September.

Slowly slowly there is an acceptance that your general wellbeing is the issue not medical numbers:

Definition of wellbeing

1.5 ‘Wellbeing’ is a broad concept, and it is described as relating to the following areas in particular:

personal dignity (including treatment of the individual with respect)

physical and mental health and emotional wellbeing

protection from abuse and neglect

control by the individual over day-to-day life (including over care and support provided and the way it is provided)

participation in work, education, training or recreation

social and economic wellbeing

domestic, family and personal

suitability of living accommodation

the individual’s contribution to society
