How long does cardiac ablation typically last for re-entrant tachycardia?

I thought I was free of it( re-entrant tachycardia) after the last ablation however my other Cardiologist ( not the E.P. cardiologist) said it usually lasts for about a year. I hope I heard that wrong!

There is no hard a fast rule and I think your non EP cardiologist is being very negative. Live for today. The world might end next week!
