I suffered a stroke nov 3 2017. Yesterday I had a loop recorder implanted. The Drs office only needs my monitor information sent once a month. Anyone else like this?

I also have an ILR , and download the data every 3 months, and shortly afterwards I see the EP. I see him next on Thursday, partly because I am worried about the amount and strength of these ectopics. The ILR was fitted a year before my ablation (3 years ago). Dave

I had a stroke November 3, 2017. I didn't get to see a neurologist until March. An implanted loop recorder is one way to see if my stroke was caused by Afib. I will have this in for 4 years unless they see something with my heart. my neurologist ordered this for me. A cardiologist did the procedure April 25, 2018. so I'm new at this. every night the recorder transmits the data via a phone like device to my dr to analyze my heart rhythm
