Required for what? Life or function?

I think it is variable from person to person but for me a HR that I can function effectively at would be around 60 - it does dip lower and when it stays low I have little energy. I believe you need a HR of 30 or more to sustain life but anything consistently in the 40’s - unless you are an athlete - would require some attention.

SPO2 - I was told it should be 100% but of course it never is - anything over 92 is OK - if it gets into the 80’s then I would be feeling rubbish and anything consistently lower than 92 is something to see your doctor about.

Hope that helps.

When I went to have my pacemaker fitted the other patient had a heart rate of 26bpm, It was only found when he went for his assessment prior to a hip replacement, It was not known how long he had been like that but he had been living a normal life.

Ok, why asking. Semi different for all but if to low tend to pacemaker to keep the beats up when needed. No where near a pace and ablate and keeps you alive if sinus node does fails.

SP02 can be heart or lungs or other issues. Need full work up there. May be heart but need a total checkup just in case if anything else contributes to it. Depending on if and why low many treatments.

Mine normally HR is around 70. But whenever I get pulptation due to anxiety, it goes to 100, but when I take bisoprolo 2.5 mg then it comes down to around 50. I'm 47 yes old.

Please advise
