So as well as 'Persistent' and 'Permanent' we now have 'Longstanding persistent'. I'm not sure how that is useful. It appears to be originated by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. I wonder if anyone else will use it?
I also noticed that the report refers to "blood thinners", which is both inaccurate and sloppy, and misses out any mention of Apixaban, which seems to be the most commonly used DOAC in the UK.
