Hi guys, I've enjoyed my time in this community, but I think that it's time I moved on so I'm deleting my Health Unlocked account. I'll let Trudie Lobban know if the client and agency give permission for the anticoagulant video to be placed in the public domain. Be well.

He may not want to be PMed.

You can just turn the emails off.

Yes, but you can't block them apparently. I guess that doesn't matter.......

Just log out.

Interestingly the poster is Hidden on my laptop running Safari, but with the iPhone app (and iPad) he’s still John-Boy!

He’s just Hidden on all my devices? It may depend upon which IOS version?

in reply to CDreamer

Mine are the latest CD whatever the number is. Are you using Apple devices?

in reply to CDreamer

Just checked I’m on Apple IOS 11.2.4.

I’m on 11.2.2. Seems the latest for my devices, both about 18months old.

Are you using the app? He’ll be Hidden if you use a browser I pretty sure. It’s the app that makes him visible not the device itself.

You are right, on the app John-boy is visible - weird!

in reply to CDreamer

HU have emailed me to say they’re going to fix it. It’s a bug in the app.

in reply to

And what does fix it mean?

I like the app as avatars and names are visible. One can differentiate between the posts made by all the Hiddens.

in reply to

The reason you can see the data/posts is due to an error (a "bug") in the app. We're not supposed to be able to see it.

So they are going to "fix" (i.e. correct) the bug so that the app will then behave just like the browser, and we then won't be able to see users that are supposed to have been "deleted".

So what I've asked of them is to simply reinstate (undelete) your old username Reillim296, so that when the bug is fixed, you will still be able to see the old username and all it's posts and replies (the data) whether using the app or browser, just as though it had never been deleted in the first place. That shouldn't affect your new username but they would remain separate.

Whether this is possible I don't know. Hope so!

In the meantime, if you want to use the current app to see the data, then don't do any upgrade, because that'll be fixing the bug that you're finding useful.

Thank you Koll. Recently I wanted to look up something I wrote four years ago (when I was timid and felt fettered by AF) in order to demonstrate how much more buoyant I feel about my health now and found it impossible to locate. Finding my presence via the app opened this door.

Good luck and we will miss your contributions.

makes sense. I browse around willy nilly and often find helpful posts from quite a while ago. Don'tknow if the author is still active but their comments continue to help.
