Hi Tadpole and welcome to the forum. A tip for you - If you want to adjust what you've written in your post click on the down arrow below it, scroll to edit and then change.

I'm not too sure what all of your message means but think I've got it. You're saying that you believe bisoprolol caused you to have a high heart rate and AF?

Jean

Hi Tadpole 1892

If you tell us more about yourself and what has been going on, it will help us to give you a better answer. But we are not doctors and can't tell you what to do.

I have not heard of Bisoprolol causing AF. It is used to slow the heart down if you get AF. Occasionally it can prevent AF.

Why did you experiment with the dose of Biso? How do you know you went into AF? What sort of doctors or specialists have you seen so far?

Feel free to ask questions, but don't ask us to tell you what you should do about your medication. We can't and won't.

I tried to lower my bisoprolol from 7.5 every morning to 5 but my heart rate goes up so my GP told me to go back to 7.5 , been on that dose for 4 years and nothing I can do about it
