This is my first day of my new years resolution to find out more about AF - I was diagnosed during a routine check up in 2014 my blood pressure was so high it was off scale although I had no visible symptoms at all - since then I’ve had acardioversion which lasted for 6 weeks, and I take Bisoporol, Amlodipine and Warfarin one of the tablets makes me very drowsy which I take at night otherwise it makes working very difficult, I also take piriton for a life long condition whereby I break out in small swellings on my hands, legs ans sometimes feet they itch badly until they erupt and are then sore till they disappear. I’ve been told I can no longer take the cold remedies I’ve been using, does anyone know what I can use other than robitussin cough medicine as I’m now on day 4 of no sleep and very little rest from a bad cold any advice will be gratefully received thank you for reading

I was wondering if you could inhale Vick. If you put it in hot water the steam seems to help a cough. You must be shattered having no sleep. I hope you recover soon.

I miss my cold cures too! Am just getting over one and took paracetemol with hot lemon and honey. For the cough, the pharmacist recommended Bronchostop which I found really good.
