am having endosoopy/biopsy taking xareelto 25mg heart doc says stop taking 48 hrs prior Monday 11th throat doc says says sunday 10th is this critical

Go with the heart doc. To be honest you would probably be OK stopping the night before so no need to take too many risks.

i checked with several drs and the anaesthetist and was told need 48 hrs drug free so i moved taking it slowly from morning to the evening and then had a day and a half plus without. So on that basis you would take it saturday evening then none on Sunday

The problem is that the DOACs haven't yet been around long enough for general doctors to understand how fast they leave the body.
