Yes it highlights a common problem. We were advising a medical startup doing something similar that couldn't get VC funding in the UK as there is such a delay in hospitals buying things so they've now all moved to California.

All a post code lottery. The centres of excellence do get the equipment and therefore the most skilled EP want to be there.

Trouble is the more they improve the techniques the greater the demand.
