Hi Donna - this forum is for AF sufferers. You may get more information and help from the Cholesterol forum?

My husband takes statins, they work like magic! He was given a diet sheet showing red, yellow and green foods, that is bad, not too bad and good! The reds are his favourites! Perhaps you could get one, or just look online?

I have arthritis of the spine and hip and I have set of exercises from a physiotherapist. Some sports centres have machines and programs specifically designed for people with physical problems. With all your difficulties you might be able to get in free. Some forward thinking doctors will even give you an exercise prescription!

Eating less meat and more fruit and vegetables should help, with fewer processed foods. I believe oats - and fresh beetroot or beetroot juice in particular are especially good.
