hi everyone does anyone know if you can take magnesium maliate or magnesium taurate while on other meds for a-fib

It really depends upon any other conditions, I cannot take any Magnesium at all as it is contraindicated. I believe if you have any kidney dysfunction you should also avoid but ask your doctor.

Before taking any supplements you should check with your pharmacist who normally dispenses your and will have your records of your meds.

I would also not see it as an either - or situation,

Many people have found Magnesium helpful though and then been able to stop their meds as they haven’t had any episodes of AF.

There are some studies which suggest that most of the populalation suffers chronic Magnesium deficiency.
