I have been suffering with AF for about three years. It was only last night that I met the first person, in that time, that has the same condition. It was really interesting to hear another person perspective on the condition and I was introduced to this app. Hoping to find some comfort from reading others comments and experiences.

Hello Graham.so much information on this site if you look on the top right hand side of the page you will see a search box where you can find other peoples comments on subjects you may find of interest.
Hello Graham and welcome to the forum. You have found the right place to talk about AF and learn from the experiences of others here - it is a real lifeline for so many of us as this blasted condition is a lonely one - we look so well and feel so dreadful at times.
Once you start to explore the site and the main AF site, you will become an expert! Do ask anything you need to know - someone will have the answer or be able to point you in the right direction.
Welcome - I have received such a lot of support and help from this group of friendly people and hope you also find it helpful.
Best wishes CD
Welcome to the forum Graham. You won't find a nicer bunch of helpful and caring people anywhere.

Hi Graham and welcome, lots on here have had AF for years and decades and getting in touch is the best thing I ever did, possibly up there with seeing an EP, or almost.
Knowledge is power as they say. Lots of the problem with AF is the not knowing and the unnecessary anxiety caused by the unknown. That sounded like Donald Rumpsfeld!

Thanks for the messages. I find that I cannot describe the feeling that it gives when an my heart rate goes erratic. Sometimes I say it's like feeling cold? Does anyone else have a description of the feeling? I hope that makes sense?
