BP monitors

Does anyone use one at home, and can anyone in the UK recommend a particular model they've found useful? Asking for a friend.

Hi I use a BP monitor made By Omron, my GP uses the same one.

There are basic ones starting at £15, it depends what you want it to do. The model I have records and stores results and registers when the heart beat is irregular.

Thanks

I use omeron cheap one. Same as my surgery uses and every now and then hubby takes it in to check similar readings. I have white coat syndrome so take my home readings in if BP check required. Not much use when in AF.

I use an Omron M10-IT which can be downloaded to a PC and weekly printouts made if needed.

I use a Boots own make one, have had it for years and it's always been spot on and stores readings.

Omron, the one that also registers irregular HB.

Hubby bought an Omron one to monitor his high blood pressure (and my sometimes low bp!) it also has an irregular heart beat indicator. It was about £40-£50 from Boots.

I use an OMRON M7 Intelli, which uses an arm cuff as opposed to a wrist cuff for more accuracy.

It has a quick person A / person B switch for partners to keep their readings separate. It saves all readings. You can have guests too.

I also use the OMRON App on my Android smartphone to download the data via Bluetooth and can display weekly / monthly graphs or tables of results.

I've found it to be easy to use and very reliable.

Don't get the cheap Lidl one. I reckon none of them will work properly when in AF.

Not what you're looking for?
