How's it going people I'm coming up to six months post ablation , all in all has gone fairly well , but for the last couple of months I have been getting some pretty bad headaches( never suffered before)! I am awaiting the results of my 24hr tape, hopefully get off these meds! I wonder if it could just be my meds ( flecainide 50mg x2 and apixaban 5mg x2).

I have had a lot of headaches but they did decline after high blood pressure was diagnosed and I was prescribed tablets to help.

If course your headaches could be totally unrelated so I recommend you talk to your doctor.

Often a chiropractor with additional neurological training and the qualification to adjust vertebrae C1 can resolve headaches. This is worth exploring. Also, in my view, atrial fibrillation has a lot to do with the spine and less to do with the heart. I have been having success eliminating AF episodes with extended chiropractic treatments.
