Hi Tyler - I think you should go back and speak to your GP and/or speak again to your pharmacist if you are worried as we are not qualified to advise you, it really depends on the individual and how they respond to the drug and the reason your GP has prescribed Bisoprolol.

The Bisoprolol is a heart rate drug so will reduce your HR which often drops at night anyway and in some people, especially older people, can drop a little too low. During the day, as you move around, your HR is more likely to be higher and therefor need the efficacy of the drug to keep it under control.

Perhaps you could ask your GP if you could take half in the morning, as you are doing that anyway I assume, and half in the night?

But do speak to your GP about this.

Best wishes CD,

I would ask to speak to your GP. Ramipril can cause unwanted dizziness for some folk too so important to check.
