Have followed the site since my diagnosis Three months ago. I have found it a really useful source of information. It seems that the condition manifests itself in many different ways. So being able to relate to others is important for me.

The journey is a bit of a rollercoaster with ups and downs. The site has helped me to know what may be next in the treatment process and prepare me with questions for my Cardiologist.

My Afib is now permanent and have had one Cardioversion that lasted for Five weeks. I am currently waiting for the next bit of treatment to be advised.

Thanks all for posting as has been invaluable for me in coming to terms with a condition that one Cardiologist described to me as " a pain in the arse " which seems to me the most fitting description.

Welcome simon - love that cardiologist's medical terminology. PITA it certainly is.
