You've definitely got it upside down.

The actual kardia device has been put on your phone the wrong way round.

Slide it out of the holder, turn it round then put it back in.

To prove to yourself it's upside down before you do this , have a go of it the other way round (home button to left).

When you are looking at an ECG, at the bottom there should be a "More" button. Press, then you get an "Invert On/Off" button. Press to toggle invert on and off. So you can software invert upside-down ECG's.

If you do that Koll, you'll have to do it with every recording, plus, it takes away the ability to look at and assess your recording as it happens.

But if you want to look at a recording you've already done the wrong way up, like I did, you can.

It sounds to me as if your Kardia is simply upside down. If it works similarly to mine, simply slide it out from it's holder, rotate it 180 degrees and slide it back in. Then, it should be correct with your 'home' button on the right. The holder is open at one end, with a couple of little springy plastic fingers stopping it coming out.

Remember that if the Kardia is laid flat on a table in front of you with the logo the right way up, it needs to be upside down when facing away from you on the back of your phone or tablet, and then the fingers will be on the correct pads.

Try turning your finger pad around 180 degrees
