Hi my BP levels usually in the range 140/70...but of late the top figure is ok around 135/140 but the bottom figure has become regularly in region of 55/60...is this of concern thought lower BP was a plus...? But sometimes get lightheaded so just wondered if a prob ?

I think it depends on who you are and what your body is used to. Mine used to be in the region 150/90 at which I felt great but my GP insisted it was too high. My wife was always around 110/65.) When I first started drugs and my BP went down to125/70 I felt quite light headed and occasionally dizzy especially if I got up too quickly but soon got used to it. Dehydration can reduce BP to dangerous levels I believe so make sure that you drink plenty of water. I would advise against regularly checking unless you have been asked to produce a chart. I found that I started to feel much better once the batteries on my machine went flat..

Many thank BobD for your helpful comments....I was just told by a pharmacist that if the lower figure is regularly below 60 to talk to your doctor...so will mention when next there. Thanks again
