Taking my pulse manually it is regular with skipped beats Kardia says possible AF or unclassified. It is in 50 - 60 bpm. I am confused. Normally when I have AF it is around 130

Kardia will give possible Afib and unclassified when there are several ectopics in the trace. I have got possible Afib with 8 or 9 ectopics in a one minute reading but I could see the p waves, so knew it was unlikely.

To set your mind at rest, try marking three of the normal r peaks on a piece of paper and move them along the rest of the trace. You will see that, even where there is an ectopic, the overall distance from the first to the THIRD r on the trace is fairly uniform.

If it is regular it is not AF which is chaotic beats. You are probably experiencing ectopic beats.

The best feature of the AliveCor gadget is that you can email the recording to your Dr. who can tell you what it shows, and give you advice. Just touch the little envelope symbol and then 'email' (this is not 100% 'secure' but I doubt if the CIA are that interested in your ECG!)

Pulse might be regular at flutter in rest.
