Thank you to everyone for the info you have given me on Amiodarone. I spoke to my pharmacist this morning and he has suggested I try taking it but if I get any of the bad side effects to stop and speak to my GP. Thanks again for your replies Judy

Hope all goes well. It's so good when one has a helpful pharmacist. Mine has, over the years, been really helpful and supportive, particularly re OTC products for occasional minor ailments when one is already on prescription medication.
