What a difference a week makes! After taking a beta blocker single dose last week my heart rate is now steady at 85 and regular, the lansaprazole is working and my indigestion and 'burping' is easing. 3 mile walk today and no afib! Hurrah! Thankyou to everyone on this forum you have kept me going over the last 3 weeks. Fingers crossed for continued improvement.
