Following a 7 day heart monitor I'm told I have a 0.5% AF burden ....anyone know how significant this is ?

Personally I think this is irrelevant. Basically they are saying you are in AF 0.5% of the time. If you are unaware or little affected by it then the "burden" is low but many people are highly symptomatic and would find even this small amount distressing.

Thank you Bob .....I had ablation for atrial flutter in November the 7 day monitor was for post ablation analysis ....I'm not symptomatic fortunately
