Interesting update on Ablation Results.
Mmmm.... couldn't really make much sense of that - it lost me in the opening sentence. I got absolutely no information from that article what so ever,
"AF doubles the risk of death in women and makes death 1.5 times more likely in men with the condition" ???
No citations, no referencing, no information or detail of the studies or who did them and contradictory information in several paragraphs and in one sentence. Very poorly written.
And just to reassure you all that our risk of death = 100% - that's a certainty not a risk.
The uncertainty is from what, when and where and hopefully, not from AF related stroke because of lack of anticoagulation.
it is based on a study by the European Heart Journal which you can see directly if you are interested.
I think it's a credible scholarly journal and interesting article
