Seasons greetings

Seasons greetings to one and all of you, having just got home from the Christmas markets in krakow, along with a 18hour delay for fog in krakow, were now ready for Christmas..... I wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year, and remember

It's not what's under the tree that's important... but the people around it..

Merry Christmas Jugsy. Am envious of your trip to Krakow, been there twice and love it!

Beautiful city, and the trip to auschwitz-birkenau was very humbling

Yes, I've been to Auschwitz-Birkenau twice too. Its all quite neat and pristine now, but I shall never forget seeing the small coal-bunker like area where prisoners were put as punishment! When I helped run a nursing home we had an elderly man come to stay who had been at one of the smaller outer Auschwitz camps, he'd worked building the railway, he said it was hell on earth and it had destroyed his life. Still couldn't sleep, would scratch himself until blood poured etc and mental health problems. He told me some amazing stories. We only seem to hear about survivors who were able to lead fairly normal lives.

Were the beautiful horse and carts in the square in Krakow?

Super sentiment and well done on your ablation outcome. All the very best for Christmas and a happy new year.

When you mention Auschwitz my pesky AF takes on a different level. There must have been poor souls there who had AF and had to endure the horrors

We certainly should count our blessings.

Very humbling and thought provoking.

Have a very happy Christmas Juggsy and an AF -free 2017. May your new ablation procedure be the turning point of a new and AF-free future. Anne
