A friend has just been told he has Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. From his description it sounds like my AF. Can anyone tell me what is the difference please?

There is a good description of this on Wikipedia when you google in W.Park.W. syndrome. It seems the diagnosis is in the detail of an echocardiogram.

Have a look on YouTube at the some of the Cardiac Dysrhythmia Dances. The elderly guys do WPW syndrome.

Thanks for the replies. Wikipedia describes it pretty well. Though being a mechanical engineer rather than an electronic one I understand the words but to me they are both electrical problems with ablation and cardio version as possible treatments. Just don't use he same drugs for treatment. The more we learn the more complex this body we have appears.
