Hi update on my previous post. My GP called to see me before writing prescription for Amiodarone I spoke to her about my fears and she agreed to contact my cardiologist to intimate my fears of the side effects and discuss other options like being referred to an EP consultant for a further consultation. Meantime I will stay on my Sotalol even though my breathlessness is awful.....prefer that to the possible horrendous side effects of Amiodarone. Let's hope I get a positive response!!!
