Afib symptoms

Hello. I'm new here and just wanted to day Hello.

I'm in my second episode of Afib having been free of any symptoms for over 8 years following cardioinvertion .

Now experiencing really bad fatigue and breathlessness .

Waiting goes to see a cardiologist .

So how long has this episode been going on and how fast is your heart?

Hi. It's been back about 3 months, heart rate 110/120 at times

Hopefully your GP has put you on something for rate control (beta blocker or calcium antagonist) and an anticoagulant meantime.

Hi. yes I'm on beta blockers and rivaroxaban

hello Chris. Welcome aboard. Though off course you'll be wishing you weren't joining this club!!

8 years seems a long time then for the AF to return is, well it's pants! So sorry t hear this but there's lots of support on here.

I myself am plodding along with my PAF and take a cocktail of meds to keep it under control.

Yeah it's complete pants to return to Afib after being symptom free for such a long time. Symptoms now are as bad as the first time around with breathlessness and total fatigue. Seeing cardiology in a few weeks time.
