Yes. It is reversible when you stop taking Amiodarone.

I took Amiodarone for 8 years and had to stop taking it because of this. After a year the deposits were no longer present. I was switched to Dronedarone which doesn't have this side effect, but this didn't keep me in NSR though it's worked for others

I took Amiodarone from June 2012 to March 2013 and again from January to June 2014. I had floaters start quite soon after starting it each time. They went soon after stopping it. When having an appointment with an eye specialist in June 2013 she commented on the corneal deposits but put the vision problems I complained of down to cataracts forming.

At that time the NHS were on the ball with cataract surgery and asked if I wanted them done now or to wait. I had the first one done about six weeks later.

Well, I was on amiodarone for about four or five months and I did start getting problems with my eyes. The doctor seemed unconcerned, telling me this is one of the side-effects. But I started having some lung problems and I begged my doctor to take me off the medicine. Fortunately he did. However he did also tell me that amiodarone is probably the most effective medicine for AF in spite of the terrible side-effects. It certainly helped me a lot. And it did stop the AF more than two years ago and have been free of it since.

It seems that it's a good medicine as long as you don't have to take it too long. Apparently the long term side effects are very dangerous
