My PAF was diagnosed when I was 44 I am now 69.
I have recorded my AF episodes for about 3 years I think it is now.
About 18 months ago I presented my GP with a graph created from my spreadsheet as at that time I remember my records showed that 56% of my AF episodes started as I woke up.
He said he would ask the Cardiologists for a view as on my own observations I felt that I did also have symptoms of sleep apnea.
Despite promting him I never had a response.
I took it upon myself to take much more time getting out of bed, firstly not sitting up and then when I did, sitting on the side of the bed for a minute or two until I felt that my heart was settled before standing up.
This action has reduced the AF on waking but sadly on average I still have as many episodes at other times of the day.
Thank you for taking the trouble to provide your videos they are very interesting.
Pete
