Not as interesting as actually coming to one of AFA conferences and watching and asking questions of some of the top EPs in the world. If you are not in UK then obviously this is difficult but there is a huge amount of information on the main website with fact sheets and explanations on all aspects of the condition. If you have not yet been to Heart Rhythm Conference in Birmingham then make a note in your diary for next October and come along.

Perhaps not but I am not in the UK. I would likely attend a conference if I were.

HI Sann. Patients day will I think be Sunday 5th October 2014 and the event is Heart Rhythm Congress which is at the ICC in Birmingham. Keep a look out for info on the main website as nothing is fixed yet in the way of agenda or anything. If you are going up on the Saturday afternoon and staying over a group of us usually meet for dinner under the name of The Pink Carnation Club as we wear one for identification. Partners always welcome! You will need to book in advance and notification will start probably late May early June. Hope to see you both. For any members in the West Country I organise occasional lunches near Exeter -purely social occasion. Next one is 19th March. Diggers Rest Woodbury Salterton.

I stayed at Hyatt Regency last two times but it is eye wateringly expensive.even if it is just across the road. There is a Premier Inn close by as well which we might look at this year.but being right in the centre of Brum prices are high!

Hi Bob, have I found the right forum here? I upgraded to windows 8 a couple of weeks ago and lost things. Wondered why I was getting no afa emails in my inbox. Will make a note of the March West Country meeting. JanR

Hi Bob, do you know if there is a meeting around Aberdeen Scotland. Would love to go.

Gary, How do you put photos or videos in this forum? I've wanted to a photo in a couple of times but can't see how. I've got a photobucket account which I use for other forums and usually just insert a direct link.

Thanks

Koll

G'day Koll

The video I posted was from Youtube. I simply copied the link address and pasted it into the body of the message. Hope it works OK for you, let me know how you get on.

To insert photographs into a post there is a field for image upload (max 2.5mb). Suggest that you may need to have a copy of the pic on your computer or other device.

in reply to Garywf

Hi Gary, I can't see any fields or options, when I press Reply I just get an empty text box. Where can you see the fields?

Understand the video link now, thanks.

Koll

PS. Just found it. I see, when you are creating a new topic you can enter an image, didn't spot it, cheers.

Thanks Gary found it really helpful. Will re-run it with my husband so we both get full value from it.

Thank you very much. It was most interesting. I now understand all about the AV node. It really was a very comprehensive lecture, very well presented.
