Not feeling quite as wiped out this morning! Aura seems to be reducing! Have got some chest pain.....very central, woke me a couple of times in the night. Taking colchicine as had some pericarditis after last ablation so pain shouldn't be that!...Any one any ideas..... should some discomfort be expected?

Some discomfort is expected but if it is real pain then contact your arrhythmia nurse where you had the ablation done. If no nurse then ring anyway and speak to EPs secretary. It could be just normal hearty distress but also could be oesphageal discomfort due to heat transfer. I have heard of others having such problems for a few weeks.

Thank you Bob, codeine seems to have reduced discomfort.....going to see how morning goes and will make a call if it continues!

I had chest discomfort for a few days but unfortunately the oesophageal discomfort went on for longer, but it was manageable and did disappear in time.
